The Constellations 

A series of large physical works where all tactics and material approaches that had been fleshed out thru the years are applied in a pure, dynamic and unpredictable form. Folded, printed, splattered, drawn, deconstructed, inked and sewn, with a final heavy gesture of paint, these pieces combine everything I've got into a unified work. Initiated from large 10'x10' pieces of heavy 15oz canvas, the process aims at creating a series of unpredictable, but intuitive, situations. Never settling into a scenario of control, the works are taken piece-meal until the composition completes its routine and the orientation reveals itself.
