Dying Light

A series of inked, deconstructed, and suspended raw canvas compositions that drape and lean off the wall. Having removed the majority of the warp of the canvas, the pieces reveal a fagility and essence of the textile. Bending the trapezoidal shape fo the canvas into a rectangle activates the negative space of the wall behind it, and the slight tilt off the wall allows the canvas to drape and roll away from itself.
